Going to see the latest scifi blockbuster used to be a "must do" thing for me. I'd sit there wondering, "How'd they do that?", at the same time as being absorbed by the storyline. Now, I tend to go out of a sense of morbid curiousity. Is it just special effects, or have they bothered to actually set out to tell a story, make me think, or take me someplace I'll never go? Hollow Man has no pretentions in that respect. It's just wall to wall CGI. It's H.G.Wells' "Invisible Man" with a lot of gizmos and a smattering of "Psycho". Save your money.

Rating: A real turkey!
