COPYRIGHT: Scifi-Babe.Com, hereinafter referred to as 'SciFi-Babe', intends to screen all submissions carefully and consistently. Authors submitting work for inclusion on this site, be it an article, a story, a graphic(s) or a digitized photograph(s), are advised to seek copyright approval for their work, if they don't own it. 'SciFi-Babe' will not accept responsibility for anyone ripping off other authors' work. Where practical, however, and at no cost to ourselves, we will assist the legal copyright holder in seeking redress for any such infringement. Should 'SciFi-Babe' receive substantive proof from a copyright holder that someone other than the copyright holder has made a submission of their work, as itemized above, to this site, and which infringes that copyright, 'SciFi-Babe' will remove the work immediately and supply the legal copyright holder with the Email address (or any other contact information in our possession) of the person who made the submission. We're authors, ourselves, so we know how bad it feels to see your hard work hijacked by some, low life, cargo-hold rat.
'SciFi-Babe' will make every effort to reproduce your work faithfully. However, you, the author, are responsible for the production of any and all document files and artwork - also including book covers, or other advertising copy - and will be asked to confirm, by email, that we have prepared your submission correctly before publication.
We cannot accept photographs or digital images of a mature nature, since we cannot verify that participants are over 18 without the individual(s) submitting the material providing us with photo-identification - like a driver's licence. In these days of rampant identity theft, we feel that this is something we cannot ask our readers to do. In fact, we strongly advise people NOT to give this information out over the internet.
In the case of written submissions and stories, fictional or otherwise, we will reject any submission if it contains a libelous statement, or encourages others (readers) to commit a criminal act, or promotes, or seeks to promote, racial or religious hatred, or which includes or advocates the abuse or mistreatment of animals or minors.
'SciFi-Babe' can not accept liability for any illegality or breach of law arising from, or error, omission, ambiguity or inaccuracy in, such material.
